does the oil have to be in unopend containers? i salvage/drain new bottles of mobil1 and regular oil that get used at work. so i have fresh oil, unused (oil drippings left in a quart bottle...get drained in to a gallon jug) after adding amount of oil needed to customer cars.

bump...what all was recommended to be brought for the troops again? (i know no nude/playboy style magazines....what about special weapons, handgun, and so forth style magazines)

Dont know about the gun mags, But car mags and sports mags should be good, and dont forget Phone cards so they can call home

yea those magazines are fine, and as far as teh oil goes anyway you can get it here!!
