This meet is open to all cars and brought to you by www.militaryperformance.com and Fire for Effect. We are going to be taking donations and making care packages for the troops overseas. We'll take anything from toothpaste and other toiletries, to car magazines, to monetary donations to be used to buy supplies. There is no cost to come, but anything you can donate will help, even if it's just $1 per car.

Directions:
To get to our facility from Route 95 take exit 38A which is Route 32 East. Travel approximate 8-miles East and exit onto Route 175. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and at the second traffic light, turn left onto Winmeyer Avenue. Immediately turn left onto Blair Drive. We are located in the corner with our entrance being located under the green top pavilion.

From Route 97 go Route 32 West to Route 170 (Telegraph Road) South. Travel approximately 4-miles to the intersection of Route 170 & 175 (Telegraph Road and Annapolis Road) and turn right onto Route 175 (Annapolis Road). At the very next light turn right onto Winmeyer Avenue. Immediately turn left onto Blair Drive. We are located in the corner with our entrance being located under the green top pavilion.

You can PM me for ideas of what to bring or just bring the things you see in the above pic!! Magazines were a big thing last year so if you have some laying around you dont need anymore, bring em!

good to know. not a far drive. if you do visitback and see this, will there be military presence (marines, navy, air force, army, national guard) there?

well, I was thinking of asking the local recruiters if they wanted to come or if we could get one of the units to bring some different military vhicles that would be cool. I live on Ft Meade (ADCG) so i'm going to have to ask around.

ok. regarding care packages....what is acceptable to send to the troops/squads while overseas? my buddy is in the marines (mortar team). what magazines are/are not allowed? what food is allowed? etc.

by teh way welcome to the site/club.

Non perishable food items, or stuff in selaed bags, most kind of snacks and candy, gum, anything along those lines. And unfortunatly, even thought they need them no Playboys, Penthouse etc..Phone cards are a great idea, or just anything you think may lift a soldier or sailors spirits

throw a letter in your care package and THANK them as well. My buddy just got back about a month or so ago, its rough being away from their families and its good for them to hear people appreciate their service

Is there a local dropoff spot for anyone that wants to donate but cant make the cruise?

no biggie. im a car nut. i go from euros to jdm to domestics all in one sitting. love them all. still desire a bugeye wrx with a jdm sti heart swap. whats all done to your evo? MR possibly? and by the way, extreme motorsports is awesome. they had a judge there one day, supposedly had to put multiple straps on it to keep it planted.

hmm thats a good question about a dropoff spot.. you could either drop it off to me at the Coast Guard yard in Curtis Bay or at Extreme Motorsports in Odenton, or we can find someone close to you to drop it off to!

It's an Evo VIII it has a fully built bottom end eagle rods weisco pistons, Injen intake and UICP, Turbo XS 3" turboback w/testpipe a walbro 255 and a custom refash from Extreme Motorsports...made 301 awhp 279 tq...theres a whole story behind this car too, if you guys are really bored...lol

i am really bored no lie. would liek to hear the story and even see the car one day.
