CJ Pony Part Cruise & MAY Meet and Elections May 24-08

OK folks, I know this is early, but after the March rush on
the meet I wanted to get it set as soon as possible.

We will hold elections at this meet for club board members so I hope as many as
can will come.

There was talk on the forum about us going to CJ Pony parts as a club and
taking a cruise up there, so I was thinking maybe this would be a good chance
to do this, they are more then happy to have us there and will give us a tour
of the place and host our meeting.

So tell me, dose this sound like a good Idea?

CJ cruise/tour sounds great, can I suggest looking at April 26th or May 10th and setting it up soon? Those dates are currently free while other events are already set for the SMMC cruise, OC trip etc.

OK, I put a poll up, and I will leave it up until, March 24, and then I will get with CJPP and set it up, I'm leaning to the 24th, as mothers day is on the 11th

Cruise sends good whatever date you want.

Sounds like a stellar idea to me! I voted the 24th(day off) as I work on the 10th.

Ed, looks like the 24th is leading the way, by when do you need to confirm with CJ's?

I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THIS MEET EITHER, SORRY GUYS

We should do the CJ's meet in July when they have CA Day and car show there!! I think it would be more fun if we did that! JMO.

Def like the idea of crusin to the CJ App day but I think the May club cruise/private tour is a good road trip also : )

I wouldnt mind riding up in may. Maybe I could save my nickels and dimes to pick up some goodies before the big show in july.

Judging by the pictures on their web site, the customer appreciation day is a monster event. Kind of hard to stay together & have a meeting I would think. I cast a vote for the meeting / tour there in May. Any chance of getting a discount on stuff once we get up there?

yeah it will be an issue trying to have a meeting with so many people. Now that i think about it parking is going to be a problem this year because of the new warehouse is now open. For those that went last year remember they used the empty warehouse for additional parking.

I haven't seen much interest in this, there are 5 or 6 of us that would
do this, but I'm afraid that mite be it, I don't know about a tech day
I can ask, but CJPP told me they would be happy to host a meet for us
and give us a tour of there place and all that, I thought it would be
nice to get some special treatment for just us, and not be in the crush
of all those people at there Customer Appreciation Day thing, That I
plan on going to as well, just thought it would be a nice cruise and
day, didn't set the date in stone until I was sure we want to do this,
so let me know.
